Secure &
Protect.
Security beyond observe & report.
Move beyond Observe & Report and into the Secure & Protect mindset. Nova Sentinel provides armed, DCJS-licensed Security Officers seven nights a week, backed by live dispatch and documented patrol activity, at a shared cost designed to provide more coverage for less than traditional dedicated security.
Move Away From Observe & Report. Enter the Secure & Protect Mindset.
Observe & Report documents what went wrong. Secure & Protect is built to prevent it, and to act when it happens anyway.
Observe & Report
The old model
- Watches the property and writes down what happened
- Calls it in, then waits for someone else to act
- Leaves the outcome to the next responder
- Measures success by the reports it files
Secure & Protect
The Nova Sentinel model
- Deter. Randomized, high-visibility patrols in marked vehicles, on an unpredictable schedule.
- Act. Armed, DCJS-licensed Security Officers who respond, handle incidents, and arrest when needed.
- Respond. Live dispatch sends the nearest available Security Officer, with backup when an incident needs it.
- Prove. GPS-verified patrols, body-worn cameras, and a report waiting in your portal every morning.
Three Tiers. One Patrol Network.
Every tier includes nightly patrol, live dispatch, armed response, and daily reporting. Higher tiers put Security Officers on foot for more checks and move you up the dispatch queue.
Basic
Visible deterrence and professional response for properties that mainly need presence.
- Randomized nightly vehicle patrols
- Live dispatch for authorized callers
- Armed response to covered calls
- Trespass & rule enforcement
- Digital daily logs & incident reports
Standard
For properties that need Security Officers out of the car checking doors, gates, and parking.
- Parking enforcement
- Exterior door, gate, & access-point checks
- Lock verification & window-based lock/unlock
- Access-control support
Premium
Larger or higher-risk properties that need interior checks and more on-site presence.
- Interior common-area & amenity checks
- Preferred on-site presence during Security Officer downtime
- Expanded foot patrol of problem areas
- Security recommendations
Rates are per patrol hour and confirmed after a free site walk. Tier rates locked for 24 months.
Typical Dedicated Security Officer
- One Security Officer, stationed at one post
- No backup when something goes wrong
- Four unprotected nights a week
Nova Sentinel Patrol Zone
- Randomized patrols by armed, certified Security Officers
- Every Security Officer in the zone can respond to your property
- Live dispatch, GPS records, and daily logs
You're Paying a Premium For Coverage That's Mostly Missing.
A dedicated Security Officer typically costs $40–45 an hour, so many properties can only afford coverage a few nights a week. That leaves the property unprotected the rest of the time. At the same time, Law Enforcement has to prioritize calls across an entire jurisdiction, so issues like trespassing, loitering, or someone refusing to leave your property may not get an immediate response.
A Security Network, Not a Single Security Officer.
You're subscribing to a coordinated patrol zone. Officers work a cluster of nearby properties on unpredictable routes, so help is already close when you call, and more than one Security Officer can respond with no additional cost.
Proactive, Randomized Patrol
High-visibility drive-throughs and walk-throughs on an unpredictable schedule, in marked vehicles that look the part.
Officers Who Can Act
Armed, DCJS-licensed Security Officers who can lawfully detain, arrest, and issue summonses when needed, instead of only observing and reporting.
Live Dispatch
Residents, staff, and managers reach a dispatcher who routes the nearest available Security Officer by severity, proximity, and your service tier.
GPS-Verified Activity
Every officer is GPS-tracked and patrols are verified against dispatch records for accuracy and quality purposes.
Body-Worn Cameras
Incidents are recorded on company-issued body cameras, helping protect both our clients and our Security Officers by providing a clear record of events.
A Report Every Morning
A digital daily log after every shift, plus incident reports with photos, all waiting in your client portal.
One Patrol Zone. Every Property On the Route.
Community associations, apartments, commercial, industrial, and construction properties share the same patrol zone and the same standard of coverage. The more properties on a route, the faster the response, the better the service.
Properties We ServeHOAs & Condos
Pools, clubhouses, parking, and common areas after hours.
Apartments
Trespass, parking, and resident-safety concerns.
Commercial & Industrial
Closing checks, alarm response, lock/unlock, and after-hours coverage.
Construction & Job Sites
Theft deterrence and vacant-hours checks.

Services & Packages
Every package is built from the same core services, delivered by the same armed, certified Security Officers. Higher tiers add physical checks, more presence, and a higher place in the dispatch queue.
What Our Security Officers Do On Your Property.
Regular Patrols
Randomized, high-visibility drive-throughs and walk-throughs on an unpredictable schedule, documented through dispatch logs and GPS.
Crime Prevention
Because Security Officers patrol neighbouring properties, they spot patterns such as vehicle break-ins, loitering, and repeat trespassers that a single-site Security Officer would miss.
Dispatch & Incident Response
A live dispatch line for residents, staff, and managers. Officers respond to incidents in progress, disturbances, suspicious activity, and rule violations.
Property & Building Checks
Officers leave the vehicle to verify doors, gates, access points, amenities, and, on Premium, interior common areas.
Parking Enforcement
Permit, fire-lane, and unauthorized-vehicle enforcement under your written towing procedures, with photo documentation.
Trespass Enforcement
Identifying unauthorized persons, issuing and tracking notices, and taking lawful action when Virginia law and the facts support it.
Alarm Response
Burglar, panic, gate, and access-control alarms: Security Officers check the property, document findings, and call police, fire, EMS, or maintenance as needed.
Access-Control Support
Gates, lockouts (when authorized), contractor access, and after-hours entry issues, handled by your post orders.
Reporting & Documentation
Daily logs, incident reports, photos, body-camera footage, and GPS records, useful to your board, insurer, attorney, or police.

Not Sure Which Tier Fits?
Answer a few questions and we'll recommend one before we ever talk price.
The Patrol-Zone Model
Traditional security puts one Security Officer at one property and makes that property pay for all of them. We put Security Officers where the properties are.
Share the Security Officer. Keep the Protection.
Nova Sentinel builds geographically tight patrol zones: clusters of nearby client properties covered by Security Officers who continuously patrol them on randomized routes, while staying available for dispatch.
Your property isn't assigned one Security Officer who might be busy or across town. It belongs to the zone. Dispatch sends the closest or best-placed Security Officer, and when an incident is serious, more Security Officers come, without a separate bill for each one.
- Dispatch the nearest available Security Officer
- Send backup when an incident needs it
- Others keep patrolling the zone while Officers handle an incident
- Concentrate patrols around developing problems
- Add Security Officers as call volume and density grow
Every new property in a zone makes the route denser, so travel times drop and response gets faster for everyone already in it.
Already Nearby, Already Assigned To You.
Police serve an entire jurisdiction and triage every call against every other call in the county. A trespasser on your property, a disturbance in your parking lot, or a propped fire door rarely makes the top of that list.
Zone-Based Design
Zones are sized so a Security Officer is always working near your property. Our design target is 20 minutes within a zone, and we track our dispatch-to-arrival data to maintain that standard.
Faster Response
Lower-priority Law Enforcement calls in Virginia average response is around 40 minutes. Nova Sentinel responds to the issues that matter to you.
A Better Handoff
When Law Enforcement is needed, we secure the scene, preserve evidence, identify involved parties, and provide responding officers with a documented starting point.
Proof, Not Promises.
Most patrol companies prove a visit by scanning QR codes, which teaches Security Officers to look for scans instead of problems. We measure patrol quality with dispatcher logs, GPS verification, report quality, body-camera footage, client feedback, and supervisor review.
Live Dispatch
Officers radio on and off every property. Dispatch logs activity, calls, and status changes all shift.
GPS Tracking
Real-time location confirms patrols and is cross-referenced against the dispatch log on request.
Body-Worn Cameras
Enforcement and incidents are recorded to provide clear documentation of incidents.
Morning Report
A complete daily log after every shift, with incident reports and photos, in your portal.
What Can You Expect?
- Digital daily logs delivered after each shift
- GPS-verified patrol activity
- Incident reports with photo documentation
- Body-worn camera documentation on request
- Parking, trespass, and alarm-response records
- Property damage and condition reports
- Dispatch-to-arrival times for every call

About Nova Sentinel
Professional, proactive private security, priced so that the communities that need it can actually afford it.
Security That Shows Up. Every Night.
To make professional, proactive private security accessible by delivering affordable, subscription-based mobile patrol without compromising quality, professionalism, or capability.
Most properties in Central Virginia face a bad trade-off: pay $40 or more an hour for a dedicated Security Officer a few nights a week, or go without. Nova Sentinel was built to remove that trade-off. We share the cost of well-trained, well-equipped, armed Security Officers across neighbouring properties, so every client gets more coverage, better Security Officers, and a real response capability.
"The goal is genuine vigilance, not checklist completion."
